It has been a while since I sent out anything pertaining to the shop and so I thought it would be a good time.
For those who still do not know, Five Corners here in Olympia is still alive and kicking! It is just under new ownership and during the ownership change it was unfortunate that we had to have the shop closed for 2 ½ months while negotiating a new lease and the entire front was being replaced. But here we are, we re-opened under new ownership mid-February and it is now the end of May. June is almost here and the weather is wonderful outside, I hope you all are enjoying it!

QiGong Every Tuesday!
Every Tuesday starting at 5:30pm we will be hosting a QiGong workshop for only $5 a class! For those interested please call or email at least 24 hours ahead as space is limited and classes that show no interest will be canceled!

Qigong refers to the art and science of using breath, posture, movement, and/or sound to cleanse, refine, accumulate and circulate Qi (bio-energy) in the body. This leads to improved health, reduction of stress and transformation of consciousness.

Gene Dreyer is the teacher and will be introducing students to general Qigong practices for stretching, relaxing and limbering the body. He will also be teaching Five Animal Qigong. This is an ancient practice which can be traced back to China’s Taoist shamanic past. Its movements will be affecting specific organs of the body and affecting the flow of the Five Element energies in the body and in response to the environment. The class will also be adapted to the needs and interest of the students.

Shop Online!
For those who do not know already– I am currently working on getting an online shopping cart up so that those not quite in the area or those who would like to spend a little less on gas to get to the brick and mortar store can shop online and get it delivered directly to their doorstep! The online store will also have merchandise that isn’t available at the brick and mortar store as well!
Currently there are 97 products on the site and quite a bit of that isn’t available at the store location so check it out at http://shop.fivecorners.net/ .
The side pages (shipping and handling and what have you) are not complete yet, but it is set up so that orders can be completed and payments are processed through paypal or money order for the time being which makes the shopping cart fully usable while i get those pages done!
